Startup Wise Guys, one of the most active early-stage investors in Europe, has selected an application from Pocket IP to participate in its acceleration program under special grant funding from the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
Startup Wise Guys was named among the 50 Most Active Investors in the World on Crunchbase in early 2020.
Since 2012, Startup Wise Guys have been helping tech startup founders become true entrepreneurs by focusing on the B2B SaaS, Fintech, Cybersecurity, and Sustainability verticals. Thanks to participation in the SWG acceleration, more than 220 startups received investments, in particular, almost 1 million euros were invested in 30 Ukrainian startups. The survival rate of startups is over 77%.
The program in Ukraine offers practical online knowledge modules, combined with very hard work with mentors during group Bootcamps and face-to-face meetings.
Pocket IP was recommended for a grant of up to $10,000 for the acceleration program by the Ukrainian Startup Fund, as it received the required number of points from the Fund’s experts during its participation in Pitch Day.
The SWG Accelerator was accredited by the Supervisory Board and the UFS gets the opportunity to select startups from the list of those recommended by the Fund that have already passed the UFS compliance and to conduct their own acceleration programs for them.
For the Pocket IP team, participation in the acceleration program will provide invaluable knowledge necessary for a successful product launch and rapid scaling in the global market.
